Thank You For The Support!

Dear Community,

Thank you all so much for the messages, support, and love that you have offered me and my family during the past week. We are back in Naples for a few weeks, but will be returning to Miami regularly for Annaleigh’s treatment. We are positive about her prognosis and are experiencing faith on a whole new level. 

I had an amazing conversation with Annaleigh last week, questioning the “why” for all of this. Obviously we would never choose cancer, but cancer chose us. So now it is up to us to choose how we are going to show up to meet cancer. With tears rolling down our cheeks we shared all that we have to be grateful for, the love that we share, and the possibility of what we will discover about ourselves and life through this process. 

This journey has already given us unexpected twists and turns. The Wayne Dyer quote, “Have a mind that is open to everything and attached to nothing” continues to support me as I let go of attachment to time and personal preference, of what I think things should look like, and choose things as they are and as they are not. In the past 17 days I have spent 11 nights in a hospital, 6 nights on Annaleigh’s floor, and 1 night in my own bed. This is not good or bad, it just is. And everyday, no matter what it brings, I know it also brings us one day closer to health and wellness. 

Again, we thank you all so much for the love and support you have given us. I truly felt the angels with me last week while we were in the hospital and medical exams were being run on Annaleigh. The power of your thoughts and prayers has reached us and so please keep them coming. I love you all and am grateful beyond measure.
